Basic Life Support training reinforces healthcare professionals’ understanding of the importance of early CPR and defibrillation, the basic steps of performing CPR, relieving choking, and using an AED; and the role of each link in the Chain of Survival. It’s intended for participants who provide health care to patients in various settings, including in-hospital and out-of-hospital. For certified or noncertified, licensed or nonlicensed healthcare professionals. Written/Skills Exam: Required for completion card.
